Who Are Afrodescendants?
In March 2002, leaders representing descendants of slaves in the Western Hemisphere met at a United Nations forum in La Ceiba, Honduras. The term Afrodescendants is the political identity that was agreed upon by Afrodescendant people representing 250 million slave descedants and 19 countries.
About Us
Our mission and goal is to raise the consciousness and empower Afrodescendant Youth, in regards to the lingering effects of chattel slavery, and the on-going systematic oppression of Afrodescendants around the world.
